24mm 3 strand PE/PP Aquatec Rope is a good all round rope if you don't want to spend a whole lot of money. The main drawback of this rope is that it is very harsh on your hands and it degrades quickly when exposed to sunlight for prolonged periods.
But it is very strong and holds up well in marine conditions.
