I thought the fids would have more of an insert for the rope ends to be positioned in. Seemed a little short for me. Drilled out one of the fids and it worked better for me.Good value though i feel.

I have never done any splicing before, have watched friends do it without fids, my practice so far has been a lot easier than I thought.

Very Useable
A very nice and easy to use kit. My only disappointment was that the fids are not marked with their size, and I would have liked to see a short fid mark on them. Apart from that, a great kit that every boatie should have.

There should be a better instruction pamphlet.
The kit is easy to use, but a more comprehensive pamphlet on splicing options would be better.

Arrived in great condition. The instructions are extremely helpful. Tho I don't know which fid goes to what size rope. Otherwise outstanding service like usual.
