Spectra Rope is made with an inner core of UHMwPE fiber and an outer cover made from 100% polyester. This rope is defined mainly by its core. The UHMwPE core is ultra low stretch and very high strength. The polyester jacket is there to protect the core from UV, friction and heat damage when used on a capstan winch.
